我们要懂得用英语安排货运，这是商务英语重要的内容。现代社会飞速发展，物流和快递行业非常发达。每一天，一包包快件被从一个地方运输到另一个地方，然后快递小哥把它们送到客户手里，而一个个满载货物的集装箱上了船之后，随即被运送往世界各地的海港。

货运方式可以归类为四种：空运，快递，海运，陆运。至于选择海运还是陆运，要看地理位置。比如，中国东北到俄罗斯，当然首选陆运。如果是广州到休斯敦，当然是走海运。选空运还是快递，主要是看货物的重量和体积。本文会重点说一下，空运和快递相关的英语表达，还有海运和陆运的相关表达。

有同学觉得空运和快递应该是一样的，其实不一样。快递都是door-to-door 服务，而空运是door-to-airport。对于空运，货代只会安排货送到达目的城市机场，客户要到机场提货，而快递是上门服务，在家等着就好。很小件的货，一般都走快递，对于一个立方左右的货，就要权衡看是走快递还是空运。虽然走快递费用很贵，但是省事，一般都帮忙清关，走空运虽然运费便宜，客户要自己开车或者请车去提货，耗费油钱是肯定的，还要自己支付清关相关费用，加起来和快递差不多了。如果有几个立方或者更多的货，当然要走海运。越多的货越适合走海运。
